At Miller Buckfire, analysts develop the skills necessary to carry them through to the next level of their careers. As an analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn from, senior bankers on a variety of transactions in a wide range of industries. Since our deal teams tend to be small (3-5 bankers), analysts have the opportunity to play an integral role in every transaction.

Upon completion of the analyst program, select analysts may be asked to remain with the firm as associates. Others have gone on to attend leading business schools or have joined prominent hedge funds and private equity firms.
Analysts candidates should be highly-motivated, energetic, team-oriented individuals who excel in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess outstanding academic records and have demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, athletics and cultural and entrepreneurial activities.
In addition to significant exposure to finance and accounting, qualified candidates must have experience with financial modeling and analysis. Additionally, candidates must have excellent writing and communication skills and possess the ability to work well in teams.
