Each year we select a small number of undergraduates to participate in our 10-week summer analyst program. At Miller Buckfire, summer analysts have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of investment banking and the role we play in advising corporate clients. On a day-to-day basis, a summer analyst’s responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, performing valuation analyses, conducting industry research, preparing for and participating in client meetings, and assisting Miller Buckfire professionals with transaction execution. Throughout the program, summer analysts will have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn from, senior bankers on a variety of transactions across a wide range of industries. Since our deal teams tend to be small (3-5 bankers), summer analysts often play an integral role in every transaction.
Each Spring, Miller Buckfire visits a number of top tier schools to conduct on-campus interviews for our summer analyst program. Please see the list of events and dates below to see when we'll be visiting your school. If we are not visiting your campus, we may have posted a job with your career center. If you cannot find the summer analyst position listed with your school, please send your resume to marisa.cox@millerbuckfire.com.
