Miller Buckfire Expands Mergers & Acquisitions Team

Miller Buckfire & Co., LLC, a leading independent investment bank focused on complex restructuring transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt financing, today announced that it has added three executives to its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team.  Richard Morgner, Managing Director; Timothy Pellegrin, Director; and Alexander Tracy, Vice President, will enhance Miller Buckfire’s M&A advisory business and ability to oversee large divestiture programs for clients considering court-supervised restructurings.

Mr. Morgner, Co-Head of Miller Buckfire’s M&A team, has extensive experience in a wide array of advisory transactions, including exclusive sales, mergers, management and leveraged buyouts, distressed transactions, fairness opinions and special committee assignments.  He has represented clients such as AAIPharma, Arlington Hospitality, BMC Industries, Country Road Communications, Gemstar-TV Guide International, Magnatrax, The Money Store, and TeleGuam Holdings.  Before joining Miller Buckfire, Mr. Morgner was a Managing Director and Head of M&A at Chanin Capital Partners, and, prior to that, held the same positions at Prudential Securities.  He received a BA degree in History and Government, cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
 
Mr. Pellegrin previously worked at Chanin Capital Partners, where he was a Director in the M&A Group.  Prior to Chanin Capital, he served as a Vice President in the M&A Group and as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group at Prudential Securities.  Mr. Pellegrin, a Certified Public Accountant, received an MBA in Finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and holds a BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the Boston College Carroll School of Management Honors Program. 
 
Mr. Tracy joins Miller Buckfire from Chanin Capital Partners, where he was a Vice President in M&A.  Previously, he was an Associate and Analyst in the M&A practice at Prudential Securities.  He holds a BA in Economics and English from Amherst College.
