Jason R. Anderson is a Managing Director of Miller Buckfire. Mr. Anderson has more than 15 years of experience advising and raising capital for clients in the industrial and automotive industries. Mr. Anderson joined Miller Buckfire in October 2009 from Banc of America Securities, LLC, where he was a Managing Director with senior client coverage responsibilities for Diversified Industrial clients and was the Head of Automotive investment banking. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities, LLC, Mr. Anderson spent 12 years as a banker covering industrial clients with Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in leading buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and debt and equity financings. Mr. Anderson has represented a broad range of clients, including Anixter International Inc., Asbury Automotive Group, Inc., The Boeing Company, Continental AG, Dana Holding Corporation, Delta Air Lines Inc., Eaton Corporation, Electronic Data Systems, Ford Motor Company, General Motors Company, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Group 1 Automotive Inc., Honeywell International Inc., Illinois Tool Works, Inc., Johnson Controls, Inc., Koch Industries, Inc., Maxim Crane Works Holdings, Inc., Olin Corporation, OMI Corporation, Oshkosh Truck Limited, The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., Saks Fifth Avenue, Inc., SandRidge Energy, Inc., SPX Corporation, Standard Motor Products, Inc., TriMas Corporation, Teleflex Incorporated, TRW Automotive Holding Corp., Visteon Corporation, Vulcan Materials Company, Wabash National Corporation and Wendy’s International Inc.
Prior to Goldman, Sachs & Co., Mr Anderson was a Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc. in Corporate Finance Services. Prior to working in investment banking, Mr. Anderson was a Consultant at A.T. Kearney, Inc. where he focused on the Transportation sector and performed economic analyses for various government agencies. Mr. Anderson received his MBA (dean’s honor list) from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in history (with highest honors) from Principia College.
