Michael Wildish is a Managing Director of Miller Buckfire and Head of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice.  Mr. Wildish has been involved in numerous strategic advisory, restructuring and financing assignments representing clients such as:  Calpine Corporation, Conversent Corporation, Interstate Bakeries Corporation, ITC^DeltaCom, Paper Source, Allied Holdings, Masspower, Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation, NTL, Inc., AMD (Communications IC Group), Unisource Worldwide, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation, Symantec Corporation,  Akamai Technologies, Inc., GoTo.com, Inc., Hexcel Corporation, Varity Corp., Borden, Inc., Cincinnati Milacron Inc. and Colgate-Palmolive Company.  Prior to Miller Buckfire, Mr. Wildish was a Managing Director for Capital Markets Services Inc., a subsidiary of the General Electric Company (GE).  Mr. Wildish joined GE in January 2003 after having worked for 16 years as a Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist serving the media, telecommunications, and technology industries for Credit Suisse First Boston, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Lazard Frères & Co., and Goldman, Sachs & Co. Before Wall Street, Mr. Wildish was a Senior Accountant for Price Waterhouse and Co.  Mr. Wildish has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.  Mr. Wildish currently serves on the Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia.
