Stuart Erickson is a Managing Director of Miller Buckfire.  Mr. Erickson has extensive experience representing companies and creditors in corporate reorganization across a wide range of industries.  Notable clients include: American Capital, European Capital, The Weinstein Company, Amtrol, Inc., Exide Technologies, Hines Horticulture, Huntsman Corporation, Mervyns, Eddie Bauer, The Loewen Group, Horizon Natural Resources, Crunch Fitness, Pegasus Broadcast Television, Pacific Crossing Limited, Spiegel, Inc., PSINet, Aurora Foods, Gate Gourmet, Pioneer Companies, and FPA Medical Management.
 
In addition, Mr. Erickson has significant experience representing creditor constituencies in restructuring transactions.  Recent representations include: advisor to the ad hoc second lien committee of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, advisor to the American Apparel second lien holders, advisor to the Orchard Brands second lien holders, and advisor to the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority insurance wrap provider.
 
Mr. Erickson is a former member of the financial restructuring groups of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Wasserstein Perella.  Prior to Wasserstein Perella, Mr. Erickson worked at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he advised clients on transactions including restructurings, exclusive sales, and fairness and solvency opinions.  Selected clients include Air & Water Technologies, Bloomberg, Brown & Williamson Tobacco, Elder Beerman (unsecured creditors’ committee), Eli Lilly, M&H Drugs, Mobile Technology (unsecured creditors’ committee), Westin Hotels, and Vitamin Shoppe.  Mr. Erickson has an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University.
